Wiredsurf about DDOS on EMO

Wiredsurf about DDOS on EMOThe fact that EMO has been offline for longer than standard even for a DDOS attack has us quite concerned. We need to rely on solid processors that will keep our funds available to us, as well as the ability to transact.

If EMO fails to come online within the next 12 hours we may be forced to remove it from our site and replace it with another processor, possibly Alert Pay, a program we have been exploring.

Since our program is a short term one, having our funds tied up in EMO for 24 hours is a HUGE deal because without access we are unable to transfer funds to e-gold for payouts and since we pay out every single day, this causes a overload of payments in pending status. Thankfully we have more than enough in egold to cover payments without a delay, but in the future, EMO being unavailable could become devestating to our business.

While Wired Surf is focused on creating new product lines, such as our debit card program, we had intended to use the same processors for all of our products as we do on Wired Surf, which could lead to problems if EMO is unable to handle attacks and keep their site online.

We're trying to be confident that EMO will return shortly and will have protection in place to prevent this from reoccurring, but we would be lying if we didn't express our overall concerns that they were unable to prevent DDOS attacks from occurring, nor were they able to defeat it and bring their site back online within a few hours, which is typically the standard time frame for any site that has measures in place for such incidents.

Since EMO is very new, it is causing a bit of frustration as well as nervousness within our team. We would appreciate your thoughts on this matter, as well as your feedback concerning the removal of EMO if they are not back online shortly.
