We would like to announce that upgrading by our new payment processor, EMO (emocorp.com) is now enabled.
If you would like to learn more about EMO and/or become a member, please click on any of our Site of the Week links.
If you want to begin upgrading with EMO, you must first make sure you visit your account settings page and change your payment ID to the email address at which you plan to receive the EMO payments. After this is completed, you can then upgrade via EMO. If you have already done this, you are all ready to upgrade.
Those former E-Gold members who have chosen the EMO option, those payments will continue and will be made with the timing dependent on your expiration date, the date you chose your option, and other internal factors. As we have stated before, all of these payments will be made on or before January 31. Please do not become frustrated if your payments do not happen as fast as those done with Stormpay; we made it very clear than StormPay would be the fastest option. We cannot give you an exact date or any further time frame, though we will do our best to expedite them as quickly as we possible can.
The response to EMO has been awesome, with almost 10,000 members having joined already. Know that all of the new business may slow EMO's normal speed of verfication slightly for the next few days; but we have been assured they are working on insuring your verifications will be done as soon as they can. We are glad to know that they will not compromise their security measures for the sake of speed; this kind of dedication is one of the many reasons we chose this company.
