Winning by a nose...it's... STORMPAY...

Winning by a nose...it's... STORMPAY...AAN UPDATE: StormPay... of Course The Deal with StormPay: I'm glad I didn't send out some kind of update a couple of days ago about StormPay. Turns out most of what I heard was just rampant rumors. StormPay has not vacated their building and it didn't burn down. They are doing business as close to 'as usual' as they can given the circumstances. It's not as bad as you think, unless of course you had lots of money tied up in autosurf or hyip programs that accepted StormPay. It is true that StormPay suspended all accounts owned by autosurf and severaly hyip programs.

But what most of you don't know is, they were instructed to do so by U.S. Government officials. That being the FBI. This all started when a group of college students at BYU (Utah) found out about 12DailyPro and built a website to promote it as an investment group. That's a big no-no but they didn't know any better. The dean at the college found out about it and reported 12dp.

He also threatened to expel those students if they continued promoting it, assuming 12dp was a 'risky, unethical and possibly illegal enterprise.' This comes from a report by ABC. One thing led to another and the FBI traced all this back to StormPay. Long story short they now want to investigate all those autosurf and hyip programs as possible ponzi or pyramid schemes.

A ponzi or pyramid scheme is an affiliate program of some kind that offers no real product or service. So that is what 12dp admin and others will have to prove. Their StormPay accounts can be frozen for up to 180 days pending investigation.

If the authorities find those activities to be illegal they intend to begin a refund process to all affected victims. [ yeah...ri8ght: sooo whan is the last time ..when the gov/mint got
involved that YOU got any money back???? ] ---Patrck...............

The reason the StormPay site has been up and down and up and down so much the past 3 days is because there are apparently some very angry people out there who lost a lot of money. Some of those people know something about hacking and DDOS (Distributed Denial Of Service) attacks. If you are not familiar with what that is, a DDOS attack is when someone programs a script that breaks into several servers and then sends site hits or messages from all of them to a single targeted server at a rate of about 10,000 hits per second. This shuts the target server down thereby denying legitimate visitors access to that site. A good network engineer can find and block the ports being attacked as long as the source doesn't keep changing them. I believe StormPay has more than one attacker out there and that's why this down time has lasted so much longer than normal. But you know the site is working because it does come back up eventually. Today it has been up longer than it has in 3 days. I had 2 withdrawals from StormPay that I submitted last week. One to my bank account and one to my StormPay debit card. Both were processed and I have that money now. So they are or were processing withdrawals. I say 'were' because that process seems to have slowed down quite a bit. My guess is it's because the server keeps getting knocked down. There's a panic going on right now that is mostly due to misinformation or a lack of information. StormPay waited way too long to update us on this. Could be they were not a liberty to disclose any information at first. Think about it.

The FBI doesn't want to scare off all those people before they can investigate them and if necessary punish them by law.

Don't get me wrong here folks. I have never really cared for StormPay. I think a lot of you are the same way. I felt like they were the only option most of the time so I used their services and paid their ultra high fees. Their support isn't very good and this NetIBA certification thing is just a big joke. NetIBA is owned by StormPay.

PS: guess I wont be signing up to ANY auto surf programs in the future..........
